Dress Code Policy
Revised 3/6/2025
The Bank has adopted a Business Casual dress code that is intended to give a professional, uniform and businesslike impression. A neat appearance contributes to the positive impression you make on our customers. All Team Members are expected to be suitably attired and groomed during working hours or whenever representing UNIFIED BANK. A good clean appearance bolsters your own poise and self-confidence and greatly enhances our Bank image. Unless specifically prohibited under applicable law, all Team Members are required to comply with all portions of this policy.
It is the Bank’s usual practice to provide all Team Members a total of seven (7) approved UNIFIED BANK shirts or sweaters as well as one (1) approved UNIFIED BANK blue T-shirt and one (1) approved UNIFIED BANK Hoodie. These T-shirts and Hoodies are to be worn at seasonally appropriate Community events sponsored by the Bank. T-shirts and Hoodies are not permitted and will not be accepted as Business Casual apparel during work hours.
The approved UNIFIED BANK shirts will be provided to you through our online ordering system, from our approved vendor. This is the only authorized logo apparel permitted that meets our UNIFIED brand standards. This vendor works closely with our Bank management team to ensure consistency. No other variations are permitted to be worn.
The available shirt selections and options for you to choose from are shown through the online ordering site. The website information will be provided to all Team Members during the orientation process, by the UNIFIED BANK Human Resources Department. The selections on the site include the UNIFIED Oxford button-up shirt in Blue and White. The UNIFIED Sweater, Vest and Cardigan in UNIFIED Blue or Gray and the approved UNIFIED Polo-style, Short-sleeve shirt in Blue, White or Gray.
After the initial order of seven (7) shirts, the Bank usually provides an annual $150 allowance to each Team Member to purchase additional apparel from our approved vendor. These items will either add to your Bank wardrobe or replace worn out items.
The Bank shirt MUST be paired with Dress Slacks, Khaki (Docker-style) Pants, Chino Pants, or Knee-Length Skirts/Dresses. Jeans/ Denim Pants are never permitted, regardless of color or style. Cargo Pants, Capri Pants, Shorts, Yoga Pants, Lounge Pants, Sweat Pants, Joggers, Leggings or Exercise Stretch Pants of any kind are NOT permitted and will not be accepted as Business Casual attire. Oxford and polo-style shirts must always be tucked in.
All Team Members are expected to wear appropriate businesslike dress shoes. Sandals, sneakers, Crocs and flip flops are never permitted as acceptable footwear. Team Members wearing slacks are expected to always wear business dress shoes and a belt or suspenders. White socks and sneakers are never permitted as acceptable footwear.
